Eagar Police Department  

Certified POLICE OFFICER  

The Eagar Police Department is testing for a Certified Police Officer position. 

You must submit the Eagar Police Department application and AZPOST application for review by April 8, 2010.

Testing will be on April 14, 2010 at 8:30 am and located at the

Eagar Police Department, 174 South Main Street, Eagar, Arizona 85925.

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

$2,000 Signing bonus for certified officers (contact Eagar P.D. for details)

$1,500 uniform reimbursement

4-10 Shift schedule

On-call pay

10 Paid holidays per year (100 hours)

Sick Leave (96.2 hours per year)

Vacation (1^st year-40 hours, 2^nd year-80 hours, more as seniority increases)

Take-home patrol car program

Job related college tuition reimbursed

Paid overtime and comp-time available

Arizona Public Safety Retirement (plus additional 457 retirement available)

Salary:

$36,500.00 to $40,500.00 for Certified Police Officer (Depending on police experience) 

Testing process:
You must meet the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZPOST) qualifications. On April 14^th you must pass; a law enforcement written exam, oral board and physical agility testing. If successful the following will be scheduled at a later date; a background investigation, polygraph exam, psychological exam, drug screen and a medical exam.
